Studi Perancangan dan Simulasi Kinerja Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya Off-Grid di Atap Bangunan Rumah
Abstract
Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) adalah solusi energi terbarukan yang efisien untuk menjawab kebutuhan listrik yang terus meningkat, sejalan dengan target pemerintah untuk mencapai 23% porsi energi terbarukan dalam bauran energi nasional pada tahun 2025.
Untuk merancang sistem PLTS, perangkat lunak seperti PVsyst dapat digunakan. Piranti lunak ini memungkinkan perancangan sistem, pemilihan komponen (seperti modul surya dan inverter), serta simulasi dan prediksi hasil energi listrik. Proses perancangan di PVsyst mempertimbangkan berbagai faktor, termasuk geometri lokasi, spesifikasi peralatan, data meteorologi, dan radiasi matahari untuk mengoptimalkan kapasitas panel surya dan mengurangi penggunaan lahan.
Sebagai contoh, sebuah studi simulasi menggunakan PVsyst untuk PLTS atap (rooftop) berkapasitas 165 Wp menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini memerlukan lahan seluas 10 . Sistem tersebut dirancang menggunakan 5 modul PV berkapasitas 165 Wp yang terhubung secara off-grid. Berdasarkan simulasi, sistem ini diprediksi mampu menghasilkan energi listrik sebesar 1227 kWh per tahun.
