PENGEMBANGAN SISTEM DETEKSI PENCURIAN RUMAH BERBASIS IOT DENGAN APLIKASI SENSOR DAN KOMPONEN PLASTIK KONDUKTIF BERKELANJUTAN
Abstract
Home security has become an increasingly important issue as burglary incidents continue to rise, particularly when residents are away. Conventional security systems often face limitations in early detection, high implementation costs, and a lack of flexibility in integrating modern technologies. This study aims to develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based home theft detection system that incorporates sustainable conductive plastic sensors and components as an innovative approach in smart security device development.
The proposed system utilizes conductive polymer-based vibration sensors to detect physical disturbances such as forced entry attempts on doors or windows. An ESP32-CAM microcontroller serves as the main processing unit and surveillance camera, while a solenoid door lock and buzzer function as active security actuators. All components are integrated through a Wi-Fi network and connected to a Telegram application, which provides real-time notifications and remote control capabilities. When the sensor detects suspicious vibrations, the system automatically activates the camera to capture surrounding images and sends them, along with an alert message, to the user. Testing results indicate that the system operates reliably in detecting and responding to security threats, offering fast response time, low power consumption, and material efficiency. The use of sustainable conductive plastic not only enhances sensor flexibility and durability but also supports environmentally friendly principles in IoT device development. With its affordability and ease of operation, this system presents an innovative solution for improving home security through smart and sustainable technology.
