SKRINING DAN OPTIMALISASI VITAMIN D PADA IBU HAMIL DALAM PENCEGAHAN STUNTING DI RW 06 KEBON BAWANG, JAKARTA UTARA

Abstract


Stunting masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia yang berdampak pada kualitas sumber daya manusia di masa depan. Vitamin D berperan penting dalam metabolisme kalsium, sistem imun, serta pertumbuhan janin, sehingga kekurangannya pada ibu hamil dapat meningkatkan risiko stunting pada anak. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil mengenai peran vitamin D dalam pencegahan stunting melalui edukasi gizi berbasis komunitas. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di RW 06 Kebon Bawang, Jakarta Utara, dengan melibatkan 50 responden ibu hamil. Metode yang digunakan meliputi skrining dasar kesehatan, penyuluhan dengan media booklet, leaflet, poster, dan video, pelatihan kader Posyandu, serta penerapan teknologi tepat guna berupa alat pemanggang kacang kedelai. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan membandingkan hasil pre-test dan post-test. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan rata-rata dari 55% menjadi 84%, dengan peningkatan tertinggi pada pemahaman mengenai kedelai sebagai sumber vitamin D (dari 46% menjadi 80%). Program ini juga menghasilkan media edukasi, pelatihan kader, dan inovasi teknologi sederhana yang dapat dimanfaatkan secara berkelanjutan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan partisipatif berbasis komunitas efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil dan mendukung upaya pencegahan stunting di wilayah perkotaan padat penduduk.
