The purpose of this journal publication is to spread the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the field of Government Studies and Local Politics. JIP, mainly focuses on the main issues in the development of government studies and local political areas as follows:

Peer Review Process
Every article that goes to the editor will be selected through the Initial Review process by the Editorial Board. Then, the article will be sent to the Reviewer / peer resource person and will go to the next selection by the Blind Preview Process. After that, the article will be returned to the author for revision. This process takes one month for the maximum time. In each manuscript, Reviewer / colleagues will be assessed from a substantial and technical aspect. His Reviewer / colleagues collaborating with JOG are experts in the field of public administration and their surrounding issues. They are experienced in the management and publication of prestigious journals spread throughout the archipelago and abroad.
Time of manuscript processing in JOG:
- The author has a 15 day waiting period for submission of the first article, the section editor will decide whether the article needs to be revised or not.
- Section editors need 3 days to check articles based on JOG author guidelines.
- The author has 12 days to revise articles in accordance with JOG author guidelines.
- The revised article given to the editor for review, the editorial team needs 15 days to complete the review.
- If the article is declined, the section editor has 3 days to inform the author of the editorial team's decision.
- If a revision article is needed, the editorial team will forward the article to the reviewer.
- Reviewers have 30 days to review articles divided into two reviews and provide a decision, Accepted or Declined
- The editorial team discusses the final decision in the editorial team meeting whether the articles recommended by the examiner continue to be published or rejected. The editorial team has 20 days to make the final decision.
- Articles that will be published soon, are left blank by the section editor for 30 days.
- The author has 3 days to confirm the layout results.
- The section editor publishes the articles received.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Ethical Scientific Publications Journal of Government (Kajian Manajemen Pemerintahan dan Otonomi Daerah)
Journal of Government (Kajian Manajemen Pemerintahan dan Otonomi Daerah) This journal is one of the journals managed by the Government of Science Study Program of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences University 17 Agustus 1945 Jakarta, which was first published in 2015. The Journal of Governmen is a scientific journal published online and published articles or scientific papers resulting from research in the fields of Government Science such as Public Policy, Public Services, Politics, Government Management and Regional Autonomy etc ...
This statement of scientific code of ethics is a statement of code of ethics for all parties involved in the publication process of this scientific journal, namely managers, editors, reviewer, and authors. The Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications essentially upholds three ethical values in publications, namely (i) Neutrality, which is free from conflicting interests in managing publications; (ii) Justice, namely giving authorship rights to those entitled as authors; and (iii) Honesty, i.e. free from duplication, fabrication, falsification and plagiarism in publications.
Publisher Responsibilities
1. Journal of Government Publisher (FISIP Government Study Program University 17 Agustus 1945 Jakarta is responsible for publishing manuscripts that after going through the process of editing, reviewing, and layout in accordance with the rules of publishing a Scientific Journal.
2. The Journal of Government Publisher is responsible for guaranteeing academic freedom for the editors and reviewer in carrying out their respective duties.
3. The Journal of Government Publisher is responsible for maintaining privacy and protecting intellectual property and copyright, and editorial freedom.
Editor's Responsibility
1. The Editor of the Journal of Government is responsible for deciding which manuscripts are suitable for publication through editorial board meetings that refer to applicable legal requirements regarding defamation, copyright infringement, duplication, data fabrication, data falsification and plagiarism.
2. In the process of studying and accepting manuscripts, the editorial team of the Journal of Government is based on the principle of equality of treatment in making decisions to publish manuscripts by not distinguishing race, gender, religion, ethnicity, citizenship, or political ideology of the author.
3. The editor and editorial team of the Journal of Government will not disclose any information about the manuscript or manuscript that entered except with the author's permission.
4. Unpublished manuscripts will not be used by the Journal of Government research editors for their own purposes and will be returned directly to the authors.
Responsibilities of the Reviewer
Journal of Government Reviewers assist editors in making editorial decisions on incoming scripts
1. The Journal of Government reviewer is responsible for the recommendations of the manuscript he reviewed.
2. The study of the manuscript is carried out objectively, and supported by clear arguments.
3. Journal of Government reviewers are responsible for quotations, references, duplication, data fabrication, data falsification and plagiarism of the manuscripts they study.
4. Journal of Government Reviewers must always maintain the confidentiality of information and not use information from the manuscripts they study for personal gain.
Writer responsibility
1. The author must present the text of the results of his thoughts or research clearly, honestly, and without duplication, data fabrication, data falsification and plagiarism.
2. The author is responsible for the confirmation submitted on the manuscript that has been written.
3. The author must show references from the opinions and works of others quoted
4. The author must write the script in an ethical, honest and responsible manner, in accordance with applicable scientific writing regulations.
The author does not mind if the manuscript has edited the review and layout process without changing the substance or main ideas of the writing.
